A multi-million dollar contract in a rented house Episode 1

Series details

Nathan, a struggling food delivery driver, had been working tirelessly to scrape together enough money for his mother's surgery. One day, while delivering an order, he lent a helping hand to a security guard struggling with heavy boxes. By sheer coincidence, he stumbled upon a critical partnership contract belonging to New Leaf Technologies. Erick, a long-time employee at New Leaf Technologies, saw an opportunity to exploit the situation for personal gain. He tried to tempt Nathan with a series of enticing offers: a private luxury hospital room for Nathan's mother, a stable job at a state-run company for Jolene, Nathan's girlfriend, and a bribe of one hundred thousand yuan. But Nathan, guided by his unwavering principles, refused, stating firmly, "I won't compromise my integrity." When Nathan returned the contract, Erick falsely accused him of damaging it by soaking it in water. Fortunately, the owner of a local print shop, moved by Nathan's past acts of kindness, stepped in to help restore the contract. At the signing ceremony, Nathan's sincerity won over the partnering company, successfully sealing the deal. However, his joy was short-lived. Jolene, overwhelmed by financial and social pressures, broke up with him, and to his heartbreak, he later discovered her sharing a private and affectionate interaction with Erick. After joining New Leaf Technologies, Nathan's extraordinary photographic memory quickly made him stand out. But his rise through the ranks also brought him face-to-face with Erick's darker side. Nathan uncovered Erick's physical and emotional abuse toward Jolene and his embezzlement of company funds. Erick even set a trap for Nathan, trying to trick him into signing a deceptive dual-contract scheme. Determined to protect the company and expose Erick's misdeeds, Nathan teamed up with Zayne to gather evidence. Together, they revealed Erick's crimes, safeguarding New Leaf Technologies from further harm. In the process, Nathan and Jolene found their way back to each other, rebuilding their trust and rekindling their love. Against all odds, Nathan's perseverance and integrity led him to rise to the position of CEO at New Leaf Technologies, marking his triumphant turnaround.
