Series details

Evan Jackson was set up by his stepbrother Marvin Jackson and Jane Sanders's classmate Linda Lee to have a relationship with Jane, an intern at Jackson Group. This incident brought Evan and Jane together. After Jane found out she was pregnant, she resigned and, with the help of her sister Shelly Sanders, gave birth to the child. Evan's mother, mistakenly thinking Jane was manipulative, bought the child from Shelly for $700k. Shelly lied to Jane, saying the baby had died. Heartbroken, Jane dropped out of school and struggled to survive. Six years later, Shelly sold Jane to an older man, but Jane accidentally ended up in a flash marriage with Evan. Evan recognized Jane but kept his identity a secret. As Jane gradually fell in love with Evan, she uncovered the truth about her child's supposed death.
