Grace is abandoned by her husband Victor and leaves with nothing, saddled with $3.2 million in guaranteed debt — and even custody of her five-year-old daughter Lila is taken from her. In her despair, she has a vision of her daughter falling to her death from a building, and discovers she can foresee stock market rises and falls, as well as impending crises. She dominates the financial markets, rising from drowning in debt to a fortune in the millions. Facing her ex-husband's family's stock-market siege, a forged psychiatric evaluation, and even the kidnapping of her daughter, she fights back step by step with the help of Dominic, a righteous man from the underworld, and Alexander, the head of the conglomerate. In the end, the chain of evidence is complete, Victor is sent to prison, Grace wins back her daughter — and rewrites that future of the fatal fall.
