Ardent Love in Barren Soil Episode 1

Series details

Set in an ABO elite business world, this romance centers on Aven, an Omega trapped in a loveless two-year commercial marriage with Alpha Frey. Frey never cherishes him, clinging to his old lover Kartun, who keeps framing and humiliating Aven at every banquet. When Aven’s heat hits dangerously without suppressants, Alpha Lain, the powerful head of Sorn Group, saves him with a temporary mark. Lain suffers unstable pheromones, and only Aven’s scent can soothe his chronic illness. Witnessing Aven’s constant mistreatment, Lain gradually falls for the gentle yet resilient Omega. Frey later discovers he mistook Kartun’s lies for truth and tries to make amends, but Aven is thoroughly worn out. Kartun’s jealousy drives her to kidnap Aven, yet Lain risks everything to rescue him. Aven finally divorces Frey, choosing Lain, who truly sees and values him. Free from the cage of a transactional marriage, the two get engaged, complete a permanent mark, and welcome a child, gaining genuine warmth and a complete family after endless pain and suffering.
