Bargained To The Beast Episode 1

Series details

“Kneel.” His voice was deep. Cold. The kind that made the other girls drop to the ground without thinking. But not me. I stood my ground, chin high, eyes locked on his. “I’m not a toy. I don’t kneel for anyone.” Around me, I heard gasps. One girl whimpered. Another whispered, “She’s mad...” Alpha Rhaegor Vellin took a slow step toward me. His boots crushed the ground beneath him, eyes burning into mine like he was waiting for me to break. But I didn’t. He leaned in, his face close enough that I could see the scar cutting across his jaw. “You should be afraid of me.” I didn’t flinch. “Then maybe you should try harder.” … Avalon’s life changed the moment her father gave her away. Her pack was under attack by dangerous rogues. They were losing badly…no food, no strength, no hope. So her father made a desperate deal with the richest and most feared Alpha in the land…Alpha Rhaegor Vellin. In exchange for protection and supplies, he traded Avalon like she was nothing. Rhaegor expected her to be weak, quiet, and terrified…just like every other girl sent to his pack. But Avalon wasn’t afraid. She was bold, fierce, and full of fire. She challenged him, stood tall, and refused to bow. And that caught Rhaegor off guard. Rhaegor lives with a dark secret. Years ago, during one of his wolf’s uncontrollable rages, he accidentally killed his mate. Since then, the Moon Goddess cursed him. Now, his wolf sometimes takes over, and he blacks out…waking to find blood and destruction around him. That’s why he keeps chains in his home…to lock himself away when the curse starts to rise. Even his strongest warriors tremble at his feet. But Avalon doesn’t. Now, she’s trapped in his dangerous world. And Rhaegor doesn’t know if she’s his salvation…or the end of him.
