Series details

Tim, a wealthy heir, marries his socialite fiancée to fulfill his family's ambitions, coldly abandoning his assistant and secret lover of three years, Laura. Unbeknownst to him, Laura is suffering from critical heart failure. Her attempts to reveal her condition are cruelly thwarted. Heartbroken and believing her end is near, Laura decides to find her blind childhood friend—also named Tim—to donate her corneas to him before she dies, unaware that he is the very man who abandoned her, who had been adopted and regained his sight years prior. As Laura tries to resign, she faces relentless bullying and framing by Tim's fiancée, even to the point of near-fatal collapse. Tim, however, blinded by his fiancée's lies, believes her deceptions instead. This causes him and Laura to repeatedly miss chances to reconcile and uncover the truth. While putting on a cold facade, Tim develops an intense, possessive desire for Laura. His attempts to protect her in secret are constantly undermined by misunderstandings and manipulation, further wounding her until she becomes utterly disillusioned.Incited by his fiancée, Tim ignores Laura's deteriorating health, pushing her to the brink of death. She is saved only by a timely heart transplant, aided by a second male lead. Just as Laura's heart begins to soften, his former fiancée kidnaps and attacks her. Tim throws himself into the danger to save Laura, sustaining critical injuries. On what seems to be his deathbed, he finally reveals his identity as her childhood friend and offers her his heart. Laura is profoundly shaken and learns the whole truth.Miraculously, Tim survives. He makes his choice definitively clear: it is only Laura. His former fiancée's final attempt at vengeance is thwarted by the second male lead, and she faces justice.
