Beneath the Velvet Lies Episode 1

Series details

Lily offered Eva five million to seduce her son Ethan, who only wanted to pursue his dream of becoming an artist. For the sake of his mother’s medical expenses and the Scott family’s debts, Eva agreed. Eva carefully crafted a series of chance encounters tailored to Ethan, successfully making Ethan fall for her at first sight. The two quickly fell in love, but just as their relationship deepened, Lily reappeared and reminded Eva it was time to end the game. Eva thought everything was over, but her mother, overwhelmed by guilt and unwilling to be a burden, left a suicide note and jumped to her death. Fearing further contact between Eva and Ethan, Lily tried every means to suppress Eva. Meanwhile, Eva, afraid of being found by Ethan, kept hiding. In the end, Ethan forced Eva into marriage with him through sheer determination, and their relationship grew stronger. However, Eva was still hiding a shocking secret.
