Bitten Addicted: Baron's Blood Bride Episode 1

Series details

Alan, the older brother of Evelyn—a lowly blood bank janitor—possessed the rare “Shield Bloodline.” He was brutally drained of his blood by the ruthless socialite Isabella, in collusion with the black market, and reduced to a desiccated corpse. Isabella passed off the stolen genuine blood as her own and offered it to the elderly Lord Sterling, who was suffering from genetic decline and on the brink of death. By taking credit for this act, she secured a “blood pact marriage” with the heir to the Sterling family—the cold-blooded and powerful vampire Baron Julian. To make the murderer pay with blood for her crimes, Evelyn concealed her own Shield lineage and infiltrated Sterling Castle. Risking her life to get close to Julian, he saw through her disguise but was drawn to her sweet, genuine blood and her reckless, unhinged nature. To resist the old lord’s control and the family’s hypocritical rules, Julian pierced Evelyn’s carotid artery with his fangs, and the two entered into a binding “blood pact” that served their mutual interests. Evelyn thus became the baron’s personal servant and blood bag. Inside the castle, Evelyn endures the constant harassment and class-based bullying from the soon-to-be bride, Isabella, all while secretly searching for evidence that Isabella hired a hitman to draw her blood. Though Julian appears cold and sharp-tongued on the surface, he reveals a morbid possessiveness and protective instinct whenever Evelyn finds herself in danger. He single-handedly crushed the low-ranking vampires on the black market, saving Evelyn from certain death. However, the path to revenge is fraught with obstacles. Liam, Evelyn’s childhood friend whom she once trusted most, succumbs to the temptation of Isabella’s two million dollars, revealing his greed and betraying Evelyn’s secrets. He even colludes with Isabella to kidnap Evelyn, intending to drown her in the Atlantic Ocean. At the brink of death, Julian arrived to save Evelyn, completely severing her last vestiges of compassion for humanity and making the bond between them even more unfathomable. The Sterling family’s “Crimson Wedding,” the event the entire world had been watching, took place as scheduled. Just as Isabella thought she was about to transcend her social class and secure her place as a baroness, Julian publicly tore off the family crest and defiantly refused the marriage. Immediately afterward, Evelyn stepped onto the altar like a goddess of vengeance. In front of all the vampire aristocrats, she projected a hologram—the footage showed her brother Alan being brutally bled dry in an underground factory, as well as the black-market transaction records bearing Isabella’s secret seal. Faced with irrefutable evidence, the facade of her deceptive marriage was torn to shreds before everyone’s eyes. At the same time, the Old Lord’s body suffered a severe immune reaction to the blood, causing him to cough up blood and collapse in public; Isabella’s lies were completely exposed, and she was reduced to a prisoner with no hope of redemption. With her vendetta fulfilled and the Old Lord on the brink of death, Julian seized the opportunity to assume supreme control of the Sterling Medical Empire. Evelyn fulfilled her brother’s dying wish. Fully aware that Julian was the lofty Baron, she had intended to slip away alone and hide in the abandoned basement storage room. However, Julian—who had long since become ensnared in this dangerous game—surprisingly cast aside the obsidian signet ring symbolizing supreme power that he had just seized, and came knocking on her door disguised as a down-and-out exile. In the cramped, dimly lit storeroom, the two shed all their disguises and bargaining chips. Julian kissed Evelyn again, forcefully and domineeringly, and the blood pact mark on her neck glowed a crimson red. Two souls who despised the rules of the world ultimately became each other’s “blood pact prisoners” in this deadly game of power.
