Bound by Revenge: Falling for the Female CEO Episode 1

Series details

Three years ago, Amber Vance’s elder sister Elena died in a premeditated car crash, which was publicly labeled an accident. Victor, a senior partner of the conglomerate, approached Amber and lied that Regina Sterling, the ruthless female CEO of Sterling Vanguard Group, had orchestrated the murder. He persuaded Amber to conceal her identity and infiltrate Regina’s side as her personal assistant to gather evidence and avenge Elena. After landing the job, Amber spent every day with Regina, only to find countless suspicious yet heart-warming details. On their first meeting, Regina forced Amber to execute a traitor to test her loyalty. Even knowing the wine Amber handed her was laced with aphrodisiac poison, she drank it without hesitation. At a gang banquet, she stood against an entire mafia clan to defend Amber. During a highway ambush, she took a bullet on her back to shield her. She also kept Elena’s most precious amber necklace close to her chest, inside which was a photo of her and Elena. Torn between hatred and an unexpected crush on Regina, Amber still trusted Victor and followed his orders to drug Regina and steal the group’s core deployment plans to frame her. Later, Victor mobilized mercenaries to storm the top floor of the group building. At the critical moment, Amber chose to protect the seriously injured Regina, and the two worked together to defuse the crisis. Afterward, Amber grew suspicious of Victor and secretly investigated his financial records from three years ago. She uncovered the truth: the original target of the car crash was Regina, and Elena merely took her place by accident. The real mastermind behind everything was Victor. Consumed by unrequited love for Elena and jealousy of her close bond with Regina, he manipulated Amber’s hatred to seize control of the conglomerate. Regina had anticipated Victor’s plot all along. The explosion and her apparent fall from the building were a carefully staged fake death to lure the villain out and expose all his crimes. With the truth laid bare, Amber arrested Victor and avenged her sister. All hatred faded away, and Amber let go of her obsession with revenge, admitting she had long fallen in love with the woman she once sought to destroy. The hunter who set out for vengeance surrendered to her heart, and the two took joint charge of the conglomerate, staying together for the rest of their lives.
