Broken Vows, Riding to Glory Episode 1

Series details

Emma spent eight years biding her time at Bluegrass Ranch in Kentucky, giving up her career as a professional jockey to work behind the scenes as a breeder—known as the “invisible mastermind”—and single-handedly propelling her fiancé, Mason, to stardom as America’s top horse owner. However, Mason—accustomed to taking whatever he wanted—not only handed over the debut rights to the champion Thoroughbred Emma had poured her heart and soul into raising to the spoiled heiress Chloe in order to secure a multi-million-dollar sponsorship deal, but also publicly humiliated Emma at the National Equestrian Association gala, calling her nothing more than an unqualified “stable hand.” When confronted, Mason arrogantly tossed her the engagement ring, attempting to coerce her into continued loyalty with a token of his affection. At that moment, Emma’s heart hardened, and she finally woke up to the truth. She refused the diamond ring, spent the night shredding all her exclusive breeding logs and core formulas, severed all ties, and drove off to a high-altitude wild horse sanctuary in Wyoming, where blizzards raged. Without Emma, Bluegrass Ranch quickly ground to a halt; the thoroughbreds ran wild and out of control, and Mason faced the dire prospect of having his ranch seized. Meanwhile, on the harsh snowy plains, Emma rediscovered her edge. Drawing on her astonishing talent, she successfully rehabilitated the unruly heavy warhorses and met Silas—the heir to one of America’s top livestock tycoons, living incognito there as a blacksmith. Faced with Mason—who, filled with regret, had abandoned his new girlfriend to beg for a reconciliation—Emma responded coldly. In the end, Mason and Chloe tore each other apart, bringing ruin upon themselves; meanwhile, supported by Silas’s vast resources and unwavering love, Emma made a triumphant return to the Grand Prix circuit with her heavy warhorse, shattering her ex-boyfriend’s false empire with her own hands and being crowned the true queen of equestrian sports.
