Cursed Blood, Forged Heir Episode 1

Series details

The Viertos divine clan determines status by "bloodline verification." A single oracle declared the newborn Lyra a "counterfeit" while recognizing Cassia—daughter of the servant Mara—as the true heir. From then on, the real heir Lyra was reduced to the lowest class, suffering endless humiliation and torment, while the impostor Cassia wore fine clothes and enjoyed wealth and honor—even Lyra's former betrothed, Tristan, looked down on her. Lyra was thrown into purgatory on a fabricated charge and endured three years of suffering. Her father Aldric's indifference, her mother Helena's blind faith in lies, and the night her brother Darian personally killed her baby dragon—these moments extinguished her last shred of hope for her family. Only her grandfather Magnus always believed she never lied. The turning point came from Kaelen, the Lord of the Shadow Bloodline, long dismissed as a heretic and a madman. He saw through the grand swap behind the false oracle and formed a divine pact with Lyra—who was also "convicted by bloodline." He helped her expose Cassia's conspiracy to steal her identity and clear her name. When Lyra was on the brink of death, poisoned by underworld venom, she reactivated the lost "Sacred Fire Trial." In the divine flames, she burned away the curse, shattered the counterfeit seal, and golden patterns emerged—proving before the gods that she was the sole true heir of Viertos. After her name was cleared, her former family knelt in regret, but Lyra refused to forgive. She rejected the divine emblem and the family that had hurt her, choosing instead to stand beside Kaelen, ruling over the Shadow Temple and Viertos together, ending a century of blood feuds. She personally abolished the "Counterfeit Decree," reformed the purgatory's brutal punishments, and sent Cassia and Mara into the same abyss she once suffered in. Revenge complete, the curse burned away, and she finally held the hand of the one person who truly understood her—bathed in golden divine fire.
