Dickson's Mistrust Episode 1

Series details

Linda Sinden has quietly loved Dickson Tennant for years, but her love was buried the day he married her sister, Eileen. When Eileen falls terminally ill, she orchestrates a final, painful act of care: she arranges for Linda and Dickson to be together, believing her sister is the only one she can trust with her husband and children. Linda, seeing this as a tragic blessing, dares to hope for a future where her long-hidden love can finally be expressed. However, Dickson, consumed by grief and suspicion, misinterprets Linda's devotion as cold-hearted ambition to replace her sister. He repays her sacrifice not with understanding, but with relentless cruelty, leaving Linda to question whether the love she safeguarded for so long was ever destined to be anything but a source of misery.
