DIVORCED AT 30: THE HIDDEN HEIRESS Episode 1

Series details

Mia Morgan, the daughter of a wealthy family, gave up her identity for love, marrying Ethan Clark, an ordinary gynecologist, and willingly spent eight years as a stay-at-home wife. She turned down the opportunity to pursue a combined master’s and doctoral degree, cut off all ties with her family, endured her mother-in-law’s harassment and her relatives’ mockery, and went through five failed IVF treatments. Yet all her sacrifices were met with her husband’s boundless flirtation with his childhood friend, Lily. At the critical moment of her sixth IVF procedure, Ethan abandoned her on the operating table after receiving a call from Lily claiming she was “about to die”; and after she finally became pregnant, Ethan left her again due to Lily’s “suicide threat,” causing her to suffer an emotional breakdown that resulted in a miscarriage. Disheartened, Mia filed for divorce. It was only then that Ethan and his family were shocked to discover that this housewife—whom they had viewed as “having no income and no background”—was actually the heiress of Summit Group, Concord’s top conglomerate. With the help of her younger brother Andrew, Mia returned to her family and assumed the role of CEO of the group. She resumed her studies, restructured the business, and reconnected with her childhood friend Leonard Brooks, now the CEO of Pinnacle Global. As she completed her personal redemption and transformation, Ethan realized it was too late to regret his actions, while Lily was sued, had her social media account suspended, and saw her reputation in tatters due to malicious rumors she had spread. At thirty, Mia lost her marriage and her child, but she found herself again. She finally understood: true sunshine isn’t something you wait for—it’s something you walk toward yourself.
