Don't Mess With the Substitute Heiress Episode 1

Series details

Fifteen years ago, Cecilia Winter's mother fell to her death. Three days later, her father married his mistress and brought home a stepsister. Cecilia was exiled to Europe. She built an empire from nothing, becoming the head of the Global Jewelry Council, controlling the provenance, pricing, and secrets of the world's rarest gems. Known as the Black Crow, she knew every dirty deal, every blood diamond, every name that mattered in the underworld. When she returned to Chicago, her family forced her into a marriage with Damian Black, the blind CEO of Black Group. But Damian was not blind. He was pretending, hunting the truth behind his brother's murder. They were pawns, but they became partners. Together, they uncovered the truth: her father killed her mother, and his brother was murdered in the same conspiracy. At the Global Jewelry Gala, they exposed every lie. Damian dropped his act, disarmed Vera, and sent all the villains to prison. Cecilia reclaimed her family empire. Damian kept his sunglasses on—because Cecilia thought he looked better with them.
