FAILED THE CAPTAIN, GAINED THE ALPHA Episode 1

Series details

In a rigid world where Omegas are banned from competitive sports, Kai Walden hides his true identity and lives as a Beta for two years, all for one desperate reason: to earn medical fees and save his terminally ill sister. Growing up in the slums, he pushes himself relentlessly to secure the football team captain position, determined to change his family’s miserable fate. Kai’s tough journey collapses when he loses the captain solo battle against top Alpha player Adrian. Worse, his unstable pheromones leak during the match, putting his hidden Omega identity at risk of exposure. Panicked and terrified, Kai overdoses on suppressant shots in the locker room, triggering severe hallucinations. He mistakenly believes Adrian’s secret love letter is meant for his sister and assumes Adrian is pursuing her. To protect his sister, a confused and defensive Kai fights violently when Adrian comes to verify his identity, but he is quickly restrained, and his Omega secret is fully revealed. The team owner confronts Kai for lying about his gender class, yet surprisingly, Adrian steps forward to vouch for him and insists on training Kai personally. Still guarded and distrustful, Kai refuses to rely on Adrian, holding fast to his misunderstanding. While working and training alone, he is hunted and assaulted by hostile team Alpha captain Victor. Adrian arrives just in time to save him and generously covers his sister’s critical medical expenses during her life-threatening crisis. Thinking Adrian loves his sister, Kai tries to entrust his family to him—until Adrian confesses his long-hidden love for Kai alone. United at last, the two resolve to defeat Victor on the football field, break the unfair rules against Omegas, and fight their way to the top of the global sports arena together.
