Fatal Temptation: The Alpha's Marked Runaway Episode 1

Series details

Fleeing her brutal mate Kaelvor's relentless abuse and fatal poison torture, Luna Katarina risks everything to escape into the Forbidden Forest, where she is unexpectedly rescued by Lorn, the top Alpha of the Red Moon Clan. Lorn showers her with unparalleled tenderness and protection—he not only ignores the deadly poison and mate mark on her body, but even cedes half of his territory to trade for the antidote. However, Kaelvor leads his army to the city gates, forcibly seizes Katarina back, and locks her in a dark manor to subject her to even crueler humiliation and torment. In a desperate confrontation, Kaelvor accidentally uncovers the truth that Katarina is poisoned by aconitine, which drags out a family massacre case from years ago. All along, Kaelvor mistakenly believed Katarina's brother killed his pregnant sister, never realizing the entire tragedy was a carefully orchestrated hoax by hidden schemers. Overwhelmed by utter remorse after learning the truth, Kaelvor forms a soul bond to trade his own life for hers, to save Katarina from the brink of death. The two resolve all past grievances. Under Kaelvor's guidance, Katarina gradually awakens her power, displaying formidable combat strength before the entire clan and becoming a true queen strong enough to fight side by side with him. As the investigation deepens, the real masterminds behind the scenes emerge—they turn out to be Kaelvor's own father Andrei and the hypocritical Lorn. Driven by the lust for supreme power, they meticulously planned every hatred and murder. Facing the fierce rebel forces and the imminent crisis of Katarina's final poison flare-up, Kaelvor marches into battle in full armor, shattering Andrei and Lorn's conspiracy with overwhelming fury. In the end, completely weary of the blood-soaked power struggles, Kaelvor voluntarily abdicates the Alpha throne. He retires to a quiet rural life with Katarina, raising the orphaned child of their enemies together, and finally embraces true peace and redemption.
