Fated to the Italian Billionaire Episode 1

Series details

When 26-year-old Italian transplant Alessandra D'Santi accompanies her best friend Paulina to a high-society London party, she immediately draws the attention of Dominic Lombardo—a 30-year-old billionaire CEO with a notorious reputation as a cold, uncommitted playboy. What begins as a fleeting, charged encounter takes an unexpected turn the next morning, when Alessandra starts her new job as executive assistant to Vittorio Lombardo, only to learn Dominic is not only the company’s president, but also Vittorio’s younger brother. Dominic sets out to pursue Alessandra with his usual confident intensity, but she repeatedly rejects his advances. Wary of his infamous romantic track record and convinced he only wants a one-night stand, she draws firm boundaries—boundaries that are tested again and again as their paths cross in the office, at social events, and on business trips. A single stolen kiss in the company break room, a tense trip to Hong Kong marred by jealousy and misunderstanding, and a snowbound stay at Dominic’s mansion only deepen the electric pull between them, even as Alessandra insists she will not be just another name on his long list of conquests. The greatest barrier between them is a pervasive, unspoken misunderstanding: Dominic, along with nearly everyone in their circle, is convinced Alessandra is Vittorio’s girlfriend. Torn between his all-consuming attraction and the belief that she is his brother’s partner, Dominic oscillates between cold distance and reckless longing, his jealousy flaring whenever other men show Alessandra attention. For her part, Alessandra grapples with her own growing feelings, all while never realizing why Dominic seems to swing between pursuit and withdrawal. The truth finally unravels on a night out in London, when Dominic walks in on Vittorio on a romantic date with Paulina. Confronting his brother, he learns the reality: Alessandra and Vittorio have never shared a romantic relationship. She is nothing more than a trusted assistant and friend—and Paulina is the woman Vittorio has been seeing all along. With the lie that has separated them finally lifted, Dominic must confront the fact that his casual pursuit has turned into genuine, all-consuming love. Now he has to prove to a skeptical Alessandra that his feelings are real, and that what he wants from her is far more than one night.
