Forced to Marry On New Year's Eve Episode 1

Series details

Twenty years ago, Susan Zhao escaped the mountains and married Zack Huo, the richest man in Crownridge. Twenty years later, her idle and wayward brother James Zhao latched onto Julia Ma, the daughter of a senior executive at the Huo Group, and demanded a betrothal gift of $300,000 to get married. James Zhao and his mother Helen deliberately devised a plan, using Grandma's name as an excuse to trick Susan back home, intending to sell her and her daughter to raise the betrothal money. They thought Susan had merely married some poor guy outside and subjected her and her children to all kinds of torment in Zhao Village, never realizing that the woman they looked down on was exactly the wife of the richest man everyone was desperate to curry favor with.
