From Penny To Billionaire A Episode 1

Series details

Jake, a small-town diner waiter, is humiliated by his fiancée Sophie and a rich heir Blake with a single penny on the night he proposes to her, crushing his love and dignity. Penniless, he still shows kindness to a homeless man named Hank, who unexpectedly gives him a lottery ticket that wins $300 million. Jake chooses to stay anonymous. He teams up with a lawyer, Leon, and uses shell capital to buy up local businesses, gradually chipping away at the Whitmore family empire. Disguised as a handyman, he endures endless humiliation, gathering evidence of Blake's embezzlement and Richard's business bullying, all while waiting for the perfect moment to strike. At the Thanksgiving celebration, Jake reveals his true identity, completes the full acquisition, and exposes the incriminating evidence. The Whitmores are ruined and sent to prison; Sophie becomes a laughingstock. Along the way, Jake meets and bonds with Maya, a kind animal shelter volunteer. After misunderstandings and reconciliation, he stays true to himself, achieving revenge and redemption through kindness and strength, and restarts his own life.
