From Riches to Regret Episode 1

Series details

Aria, the daughter of the richest man in Jiangnan, runs away with Simon and marries him in Southwest Town despite her parents' opposition. After the marriage, Aria took care of the household chores by herself, and when she was pregnant and gave birth, Simon was also out of the house. During the five years of her marriage, Aria has been neglected and deceived, and is even coaxed by Simon into signing divorce papers. She sells cakes to save money, but witnesses Simon dating Lila. Aria's parents travel to Southwest Town because they miss their daughter. However, Aria is denied her identity in front of the public at a birthday party Simon hosts for Lila. At a critical moment, Aria's parents' identity is revealed and Simon's betrayal and cheating are exposed. Eventually, Aria comes to her senses with the support of her parents and realizes that the pain of marrying far away lies in the unpredictability of the human heart, not in the distance.
