Goodbye, Dead Weight Marriage Episode 1

Series details

Shannon, a therapist, devoted herself to her marriage — until she caught her husband Sterling cheating on her with his ex‑lover Winnie when she was eight‑months pregnant. Sterling once signed an agreement to forfeit all assets for marital misconduct, yet he kept obsessing over Winnie and hurting Shannon over and over. Going into premature labor, Shannon signed surgical consent forms alone and resolved to file for divorce. With solid evidence in hand, she won the lawsuit, gaining full ownership of Sterling’s assets and sole custody of their baby daughter. Drowning in huge debts, Sterling got trapped in a toxic relationship with the hysterical, money‑hungry Winnie and sank into despair. Rejecting his desperate pleas for reconciliation, Shannon builds her own counseling studio, raising her daughter and embracing a fulfilling independent life. Meanwhile, Sterling and Winnie’s self‑destructive bond ends in mutual ruin.
