He Begged for Mercy,I Had None Episode 1

Series details

Anne Winslow, heir to a wealthy Los‑Angeles family, was going through documents in her office when she received devastating news. Her daughter Ella had been severely injured at her graduation banquet and rushed to hospital. Medical reports showed signs of attempted sexual assault on Ella, and her condition was critical. Anne swore the perpetrator would pay for what he had done. Shortly afterward, the perpetrator’s family requested a meeting for a settlement. Anne arrived at the conference room at Stanford University, only to find the other party was Selena, her husband Mark’s mistress. Flashing a Winslow‑family black card, Selena arrogantly pushed for an out‑of‑court deal, trying to buy her son Marcus out of his attempted‑rape crime. Anne recognized the black card as a supplementary card she had issued to her husband. In an instant, everything clicked: the man who had attacked her daughter was Mark’s illegitimate son. On the spot, Anne arranged for millions of US dollars in cash, froze all supplementary cards under Mark’s name, and declared she would “buy Marcus’s life”. Selena threatened her by invoking Mark and the power of the Winslow family. When Mark burst into the conference room and called out “Honey”, everyone present was stunned. Marcus’s identity as the illegitimate child was exposed immediately. The Smiths, another victim’s parents, stormed in. Their daughter had been drugged and brutally raped, and they refused to sign any compensation agreement. As Mark reviewed the case files, he was horrified to learn that the badly injured Ella was his own biological daughter. He had named her eighteen years ago, yet just three days prior he had ordered the incident to be “covered up”. Mark dropped to his knees begging for mercy. Selena retaliated by accusing Anne of being the home‑wrecker. Forced into a corner, Mark publicly admitted that Selena was his mistress and Marcus his illegitimate son. Lawyers then revealed that Mark was merely a son‑in‑law married into the Winslow family. Anne filed for divorce, and Mark was ordered to leave with nothing. At that moment, Ella suffered acute liver failure from prolonged coma and urgently needed a liver transplant with Rh‑negative blood type. Mark used his organ‑match compatibility as leverage, demanding Anne drop all charges and reinstate his position. Anne rejected his blackmail outright. Matches from extended Winslow‑family relatives all failed. In this moment of crisis, Mr. Smith, whom Anne had helped before, volunteered to donate his liver. The surgery succeeded and Ella pulled through. Anne forced Mark, Selena and Marcus to slap one another as an act of remorse. She then seized all assets under Selena’s name, and Marcus was sentenced to life imprisonment. After Ella regained consciousness, Mark resorted to threats and pleas. “You wouldn’t want everyone to know what happened to you when you were assaulted. You don’t want your reputation ruined.” Ella fired back fiercely: “A woman’s honor and virtue do not lie between her legs! I have no father like you!” She then took her mother’s hand, saying she wanted to help more girls victimized by power and privilege. Mother and daughter embraced, ready for a new chapter in their lives.
