Series details

Claire’s wedding day turns into a nightmare when her husband Harold and his lover Lydia jump into the sea together, leaving the Cross family and its empire in ruins. Claire could have walked away, but she stays for her young siblings. Over the next ten years, she rebuilds the struggling company and restores the family fortune through sheer determination. Then Harold returns—alive, with Lydia and their three children. Instead of gratitude, the family demands that Claire surrender everything she built. Betrayed by her husband, her adopted sister, and even her biological father, Claire finally refuses to be the woman who always sacrifices herself. This time, she fights back. Using carefully planned schemes, she turns their plots against them, exposes every betrayal, and drives her enemies out of the company. She renames the empire Vera and takes control of her own destiny. She spent ten years saving their family. Now, she’s taking back everything that’s hers.
