He Thought I’d Come Back After the Lies Episode 1

Series details

Nora White and Lucas Brown were in a romantic relationship for seven years and married for two. Throughout this time, Nora single-handedly covered all household expenses and supported Lucas’s grandmother and younger sister, yet her sacrifices were taken completely for granted. By chance, Nora discovered that Lucas was having an affair with his junior schoolmate Daphne. What hurt her even more was his total indifference to her pain. Heartbroken beyond repair, she resolutely sold their marital home, cut off all financial support to his family, and signed the divorce papers without hesitation. Unwilling to accept the outcome, Lucas teamed up with his family to spread malicious rumors and slander Nora online, attempting to force her to reconcile with him. Instead of breaking down, Nora gathered solid evidence of her seven years of devotion, hired a lawyer, and sued Lucas for defamation. In court, she presented crucial proof that laid bare all of Lucas’s lies. She eventually won the lawsuit and reclaimed everything that rightfully belonged to her. A year later, Nora had a thriving career and a happy life. In contrast, Lucas and his family paid a heavy price for their selfishness.
