Series details

"Human girl Eve is forced to become entangled with Cain, the progenitor of vampires, in order to save her brother Noah, who is poisoned with silver toxin. What begins as a transactional relationship gradually evolves into a story of intertwined love and hate. Desperate to obtain the silver antidote only Cain possesses, Eve sets aside her pride and enters into a deal with him. However, she soon discovers that Cain’s heart harbors a sleeping pureblood vampire, Leah, and that she is nothing more than a blood servant and an outlet for his desires. During this time, Eve endures betrayal from her suitor Evan and constant torment and traps set by Leah. She finds herself in danger time and again. Yet, as Cain spends more time with Eve, he is gradually moved by her resilience and her selfless dedication to her brother. His cold, obsessive heart begins to soften, and his feelings for Eve transform from mere use to genuine love. When Leah awakens, driven by jealousy, she launches a vicious revenge against Eve, scheming to force her into working at a club and even bribing others to try to destroy her. After learning the truth, Cain finally recognizes his true feelings, breaks with Leah, and after many hardships, finds Eve who has fled far away. Setting aside the pride of a vampire progenitor, he humbly begs for her love. In the end, he moves Eve, and with Noah’s blessing, they come together at last."
