Hunted by the Deranged Bride Episode 1

Series details

In 1910s New York, heiress Evelyn Cecil faces a brutal ultimatum: marry before the deadline or lose her estate and title. On her wedding day, she overhears her fiancé Tom and his mistress Chloe plotting to commit her to an asylum, so when Tom's rival, the notorious rake Arthur Pendleton, storms the church to wreck the ceremony, Evelyn seizes the moment—she dumps Tom, declares she'll marry Arthur, and drags him onto a horse, galloping away. That night she pins him to the bed, sending Arthur fleeing to a cabaret club; but Evelyn buys the entire club and hauls him home in public. She then forces him to take over the family business and run for the chamber of commerce, and against all odds he wins by a landslide. The defeated Tom and Chloe strike back, forging a fake heir and bribing judges to steal Evelyn's estate, while Chloe reveals she is Evelyn's half-sister, risen from poverty to destroy her. Now Evelyn and Arthur must unite against a conspiracy that knows every weakness—but can they outsmart their enemies and survive the fire igniting between them?
