I Am the Princess Episode 1

Series details

In my past life, I heeded the "kind advice" of the white wolf sister Lia and chose Kane, heir to the Blackstone Pack, who was rumoured to have a fractured wolf spirit and be incapable of fully shifting into his wolf form. After we wed, I travelled from tribe to tribe for him, beseeching every healer I could find. I exhausted my mother’s herbal manuscripts and my dowry, yet never won an ounce of his genuine affection. It was on my birthday feast that hunters broke into the Grey Ridge Pack, silver guns aimed straight at Lia. Right before every witness, Kane unfurled fully formed wolf claws and shoved me into the line of fire. He had never lost his wolf spirit at all. He had lied to me his whole life, all for Lia. I was reborn on the very day Father bade us choose our mates. Lia still donned her guise of benevolence, yielding the first right of choice to me. Instead of walking toward Kane again, I publicly picked Ethan—the one Lia had secretly loved for years. For the first time, the flawless mask of the gentle white wolf cracked. Kane had also been reborn, yet he still revealed his true wolf spirit for Lia. He was willing to shoulder all of Grey Ridge Pack’s debts solely to win her hand in marriage. Father sought to use me as collateral to settle the pack’s obligations. Ethan deemed me plain and beneath him. Lia wept and drew everyone’s favour to herself. But this lifetime, I would no longer beg anyone for love. I left Grey Ridge and ventured into the perilous neutral territories. Drawing on the herbal knowledge, accounting skills and negotiation tactics I had learned for Kane in my previous life, I slowly reclaimed the resources that rightfully belonged to my mother. Still, they refused to leave me in peace. Lia faked a suicidal leap from a cliff. Ethan seized me by force to draw my blood for transfusion. Father signed a consent form for wolf soul transfusion. Once more, Kane stood by Lia’s side, watching as I was escorted into the operating theatre. Everyone believed I was dead, unaware the whole ordeal was a fake death scheme I had orchestrated myself. I was taken back to the Northern Realm Kingdom, where I learned the truth: my mother had never been a lowly she-wolf. She was the long-lost princess of the Northern Realm. I awakened as a true royal white wolf and returned to Grey Ridge armed with evidence. The charges against Lia were grave: harming lesser-ranked wolves, embezzling my mother’s assets, fabricating a wolf spirit breakdown, and even complicity in the hunter raid from my past life. Father was stripped of his Alpha authority. Lia was imprisoned to face judgment. Ethan finally learned it had been me—the grey she-wolf—who saved him all those years ago. Kane drowned in overwhelming remorse. But it was far too late. I was no longer the disposable grey wolf they cast aside. I was a princess of the Northern Realm, and master of my own fate.
