Series details

Twenty-four-year-old mining heiress Summer Hayes is treated as a social climbing pawn by her father, forced into an arranged marriage with Preston Locke, the eight-year-older eldest heir of the powerful Locke family whom she has never met. Both flee their wedding on the big day, choosing to go their separate ways. Heartbroken, Summer drowns her sorrows in a bar and spends money to hire a cold, quiet stranger drinking alone for a one-night companion. She never imagines the man she casually treated as a paid escort and tried to tip off the next day is none other than her mysterious billionaire husband, Preston Locke. Carrying this huge misunderstanding, Summer starts her new job at Zenith Corporation, only to discover her strict new boss, her hidden legal husband, and her pestering ex-boyfriend are all the same person. A hilarious yet thrilling high-society game begins. Preston plays along with the mistake, lurking by her side as her assistant. Secretly, he eliminates all schemes from her greedy father, humiliation from her ex, troubles caused by her vicious stepmother, and plots from his fake white moonlight. Through countless dimensional counterattacks, the abandoned rebellious heiress grows into a powerful queen who acquires the entire Hayes Group and commands everyone’s submission. When the truth and dual identities are finally revealed, the man she once pitied as a “poor guy” gives her a long-overdue wedding and a hand-polished gem ring, staging the most passionate and regretful wife-chasing redemption. A perfect blend of thrilling revenge and heart-fluttering romance!
