Evelyn endured seven years of sacrifices to boost her fiancé Mason, an ice‑hockey star, to stardom. Yet on championship night, she witnesses him proposing to the scheming Vanessa using the wedding she herself had designed, before being ruthlessly abandoned in a snowstorm. Having given up all hope, Evelyn posts a public marriage proposal online and instantly marries Adrian, the heir to a top‑tier wealthy family who has long loved her in secret. When Evelyn withdraws all her financial backing and makes a stunning comeback as the powerful female CEO of NorthRidge, Mason is consumed by remorse upon learning the truth. At an ice‑rink wedding, he kneels begging for forgiveness holding a burnt ring, only to be coldly rejected by Evelyn. As the truth about her savior from the old fire comes to light, the vicious female antagonist snaps and smashes Mason’s right knee. The scoundrel and the malicious woman are both ruined. Meanwhile, Evelyn embraces a new life bathed in Adrian’s devoted affection.
