I Married My Ex’s Vampire Brother After Breaking Up Episode 1

Series details

Supermodel Seren Ashby is publicly humiliated by her pureblood aristocrat boyfriend Julian Blackthorn, who sneers that she is nothing but a “mixed-blood model” he keeps for fun. Unwilling to tolerate the insult, she splashes wine on his face and breaks up with him on the spot. Right after the split, she is stopped by Julian’s paternal half-brother, Elias Thornfield. The second young master of the powerful military Thornfield family, Elias puts on a laid-back and frivolous facade, yet he has harbored a secret crush on Seren for a whole decade. As a teenage boy, he was brutally bullied on a rainy night and on the verge of despair—until Seren’s words pulled him back: “Let your tears fall low, then stand up and move forward.” This single sentence saved his broken youth. After the breakup, Seren is dragged into a desperate financial crisis by her father’s massive debts. Her cruel ex Julian takes advantage of her plight, offering to bail her out only in exchange for her body. Just as she hits rock bottom, Elias steps forward to shield her from all harm. He transfers five million dollars to settle her debt, storms an underground casino alone to rescue her, and publicly gifts her a priceless ninety-million-dollar pigeon-blood ruby anklet. Between resistance and overwhelming tenderness, Seren gradually falls for his silent, devoted protection, and the two start a secret romantic relationship. When Julian discovers their affair, he loses complete control. He calls off his engagement to his fiancée Vesper in a frantic attempt to win Seren back, only to find he has been blocked entirely from her life. The long-simmering feud between the half-brothers erupts at the family banquet. Elias boldly announces Seren as his wife. Enraged and distraught, Julian throws a punch at Elias and collapses with myocarditis, rushing to the hospital. After recovering, a deranged Julian kidnaps Seren to the old family mansion Rosethorn Hall, attempting to force her into submission. Elias bursts through the door with a gun, warning coldly: “Stay away from her.” He presses the gun to his half-brother’s forehead but never pulls the trigger—for he knows Seren’s heart has long belonged to him. The decade-long secret is finally revealed: Elias is exactly the helpless boy Seren saved all those years ago. For ten years, he has gone from silently admiring her from afar to guarding her fiercely, finally delivering his long-cherished love to his savior. Meanwhile, Julian kneels amid shattered fragments, drowning in regret—he is the one who carelessly lost the only person who ever truly loved him.
