I Picked Up a God King Episode 1

Series details

Struggling designer Chloe’s worst night turns surreal when she crashes into a fallen marble statue and, drunk and lonely, kisses it. The statue shatters, releasing Aurelius, an arrogant ancient god-king bound to her by the kiss. Despite his terrifying power and terrible fashion sense, he protects her from her scheming ex-best friend Jessica, her cheating ex-boyfriend Brad, and a ruthless boss who stole her designs. When a modeling agency offers Aurelius ten million dollars to abandon Chloe, he tears up the check and stays, leaving them blacklisted and homeless. Desperate for a designer showcase, Chloe cannot buy fabric, so Aurelius uses forbidden divine power to transform rotting scraps into magical fabric, coughing golden blood from the backlash. Wearing her creation, he turns Times Square into a runway, dazzling a top investor who offers Chloe fifty million dollars—just as her enemies watch in fury.
