IMarriedMyEx'sPowerfulUncle Episode 1

Series details

For two years, screenwriter Samantha poured her talent into Christian, heir of the Sterling dynasty—only to be humiliated and cast out by his mother Victoria, who had her cornered in a hospital by security guards and branded "barren." When Samantha discovered Christian had been cheating on her with his own brother's widow, Chloe, she wiped away her tears and made two life-altering moves: she revealed that she and Christian had never legally registered their marriage at City Hall, and that very night, she married Christian's uncle—the formidable Stefan. Stefan, the true power behind the Sterling empire, gives Samantha the devotion she never received: he purchases multiple luxury commercial streets across Manhattan and gifts them to his new wife. She returns to the industry as chief producer at Ether Pictures, publicly refusing and severing the core film project Sterling Group had depended on for two years—a crushing blow to Christian's arrogance. At the family patriarch's gala, Samantha presents a half-century-lost antique brooch and is formally granted the family matriarch's emerald heirloom. On their wedding day, Christian storms in with a premature infant in a desperate attempt to disrupt the ceremony. Stefan blocks him coldly and forces the former heir to bow his head and address Samantha as "Aunt." That night, before consummating her marriage, Samantha releases Chloe's secret affair photos, plunging the so-called "family heir" into a full DNA investigation. The scheming mother and the faithless ex-husband are thrown into an abyss of their own making. Samantha—who once begged for love—walks away with her head high, no longer the forgotten wife, but the new matriarch of the Sterling family, feared and adored in equal measure.
