Immortal Mother Protects Her Son Episode 1

Series details

After slumbering for decades, the female lead awakens to find her son Zhu Yu reduced to a decrepit elderly man scrabbling for scraps with stray dogs. This ruinous fate stems from Jiang Yin, the male lead, who extracted Zhu Yu’s immortal bones and immortal marrow to fuel his own cultivation. She can see floating viewer bullet comments that reveal the full plot of this novel: her son is the original story’s villain, while Jiang Yin built his power solely by robbing others of their immortal roots. Worse still, Xie Canghai, Immortal Lord Zixiao and Jiang Yin’s master, turns out to be her mortal husband from a lifetime ago. Burning with rage, the heroine seeks vengeance. She cripples Jiang Yin’s cultivation in front of all onlookers, reclaims her son’s stolen immortal bones, and forges a brand-new immortal body for Zhu Yu. When Jiang Yingshan — Jiang Yin’s mother — and Xie Canghai arrive to avenge Jiang Yin, the heroine lays bare the truth of how she was abandoned long ago, forced to bear and raise their child all alone. Upon learning Zhu Yu is his biological son, Xie Canghai drowns in endless remorse. He sacrifices himself to shield his grandson from heavenly tribulation, his dao heart shattering as he perishes. In the end, the heroine returns to Kunlun with Zhu Yu. Her son grows into the divine guardian tree of Kunlun, and she retires from all worldly strife to live out her days in peace.
