Lies Behind the Mansion Episode 1

Series details

A struggling single mother and her young son sell cherries on the street just to survive. When a wealthy stranger offers her $200,000 to pretend to be his wife for one month, she reluctantly accepts, hoping to give her child a better future. They move into a luxurious mansion, but the glamorous life quickly turns cold. The man’s family treats them with open contempt, strange warnings surface, and the mother begins to sense that the contract hides something far darker. After enduring humiliation, she walks away—only to be pulled back by a shocking truth: the uncle whose fortune is at stake never disappeared. He has been secretly imprisoned in the mansion’s basement, and the marriage deal was part of an elaborate trap. Torn between protecting her son and seeking justice, the mother joins unexpected allies to uncover the family’s greed. In a tense nighttime rescue, they free the captive uncle and expose the real villains. In the end, the rescued uncle rewards the mother’s courage and kindness by giving the mansion to her and her son—proving that honesty and love can triumph over even the most carefully planned deception.
