Live In Your Own Arena Episode 1

Series details

For a decade, Judith has single-handedly supported the family and taken care of all household chores. Yet her husband Brayden has constantly manipulated and belittled her, making her feel unworthy even of eating a chicken leg she bought with her own money. Influenced by his father, their son Erick takes his mother's devotion for granted. He even talks back to her and shoves her around. A violent quarrel at the dinner table finally jolts Judith awake. She decides to put an end to her endurance and sacrifices, files for divorce without hesitation, and breaks free from this parasitic relationship. She casts off the shackles of being a dutiful wife and mother. After leaving this toxic family, Judith devotes herself to her career. She gets promoted and earns a higher income, living a confident and independent life. Meanwhile, deprived of their financial provider, Brayden and Erick finally taste the hardships of life and are drowned in endless regret. This is a powerful story of female awakening and self-redemption.
