Marriage of Convenience Episode 1

Series details

Ethan Blake, a 31-year-old tech CEO, signs a fake marriage contract with documentary photographer Maya to satisfy his board’s demand for a stable public image. Maya refuses to shoot polished, posed CEO shots; instead, she captures his unguarded, ordinary moments—yawning, sneaking snacks, dozing off, browsing cheap socks online. Maya keenly observes every tiny detail of Ethan’s hidden real self. Gradually, Ethan drops his performative perfection, growing relaxed and genuine around her. They fake family photos for investors, yet warm, authentic feelings quietly bloom between them. When Maya’s candid photos leak online, the public adores Ethan’s human side instead of his cold CEO persona. The two abandon pretenses. Maya stops relying on her camera, simply staying by Ethan’s side to witness his natural smiles. Their contractual marriage evolves into sincere companionship free from exhausting social involution.
