Married to the Beggar Emperor Episode 1

Series details

Violet Sutton, as the illegitimate daughter of the Song family's eldest wife, was not favored by her father and stepmother due to her deceased mother's dowry. However, she was granted an imperial decree because her student husband, Mr. Preston, who was selected by throwing embroidered balls many years ago, became a high-ranking official in the court. In the Song family gathering, the scenery is boundless. However, Ruby Sutton, the eldest sister, was expelled from her home for throwing her embroidered ball to a passing death row prisoner and running away from marriage. She has been living like a beggar for years. So at the end of the clan meeting, Ruby Sutton set fire to the house, and the two sisters were reborn together to return to the site of the son-in-law election.
