《Marrying A Desperate Bankrupt Princess》 Episode 1

Series details

Effie, a fallen heiress, loses everything when her grandmother is murdered. To uncover the truth, she infiltrates the Morgan Group, the very company she suspects is involved. On the night of a lavish banquet, she's drugged by her scheming stepmother and stepsister and ends up in the room of Steven, the playboy second son of the Morgan family. But Steven is not what he seems—he's the secret CEO, hiding his identity to root out internal corruption. He suffers from a heart condition that only a special handkerchief, given to him by a childhood mystery girl, can soothe. Strangely, Effie's scent has the same calming effect. He becomes obsessed and proposes a contract marriage, which she accepts to stay close to her investigation. As they navigate a fake relationship, both harbor secrets. He believes she's just a tool; she thinks he might be her grandmother's killer. But as they fall for each other, the truth unravels: Effie is his long-lost childhood savior, and the real murderer is his trusted assistant, Ryan. Now, they must join forces to expose the killer and clear Steven's name, all while their fake marriage turns into a passionate, real love. Filled with revenge, suspense, and steamy romance, this is a story of two broken souls who heal each other.
