Mess With Her, Answer To The Don Episode 1

Series details

Lina, a poor girl from Brooklyn, accidentally saves an elderly mafia matriarch who suffers a sudden heart attack. She soon falls sweetly in love with Vincent, who has been hiding his true identity as the godfather of the New York mafia. However, Lina’s vicious stepsister Mia steals the noble token left behind by Lina’s birth mother and impersonates her as the heiress of the elite Sterling family in Europe. Together with Lina’s snobbish ex-boyfriend Leo, Mia humiliates, suppresses, and relentlessly tries to destroy her. At a luxury jewelry store on Fifth Avenue, Mia publicly insults and bullies Lina, even threatening to break her legs and throw her into the river. At the critical moment, Vincent reveals his identity as the mafia godfather and protects his wife with overwhelming authority. He exposes Mia’s fake-heiress disguise on the spot and helps Lina reunite with her biological grandfather. Later, Mia colludes with the second elder of the family, who is plotting to seize power. During Lina’s recognition banquet, they fabricate evidence to frame her and even join forces with a rival mafia family to launch an attack. After enduring everything with kindness and restraint, Lina finally awakens. She teams up with the godfather, carefully gathering evidence step by step, and publicly tears away the hypocritical masks of every villain. In the end, Lina reclaims her rightful position as the sole heir of the Sterling family and becomes the new head of the family. Joining forces with the mafia godfather, she makes every villain suffer the consequences of their own actions. This is a satisfying revenge drama about a poor girl who rises from being bullied at the bottom of society to becoming a top queen feared by both the lawful and criminal worlds. It is also a high-intensity romance of mutual devotion, where both leads protect each other fiercely and choose each other without hesitation.
