Series details

Blind Chloe Lewis discovers her boyfriend, Liam Yates, betraying her with her best friend. Liam is caught in the act, violently assaulting Chloe and even trying to extort money from her, setting her up to be sent to the bed of billionaire Carter Scott. Carter is drugged by Liam and has a one-night stand with Chloe. Chloe flees in panic after waking up, only to find herself pregnant two months later. When Liam coerces Chloe to confront Carter for money, Carter, haunted by memories of a childhood savior he still yearns for, coldly proposes an abortion, wishing to avoid any entanglements. However, Carter's grandmother intervenes, demanding he marry Chloe under the threat of her own life. Carter reluctantly agrees, imposing a harsh marriage contract on Chloe that strips her of any future rights to their child post-divorce. Despite his disdain for Chloe, whom he blames for entrapping him, Carter remains obsessed with finding his childhood love, symbolized by a crescent moon necklace. He mistakenly identifies Yvonne York, a schoolmate of Chloe's, as his long-lost savior, unaware that his true rescuer is actually his detested and hated wife, Chloe...
