My Boss Is a Loaf of Bread Episode 1

Series details

Emily landed a job at a top-tier internet tech giant. On her very first day at work, she noticed all staff treated their mysterious CEO with utmost deference. When an unexpected power outage blacked out the entire building, Emily accidentally stumbled into the CEO’s office. To her horror, the legendary chief executive turned out to be a talking baguette. Even more unbelievable was that every single employee in the company thought this was perfectly ordinary. Every day, the baguette boss mapped out core strategies in the boardroom, held executive meetings, and even distributed year-end bonuses with pinpoint accuracy. It smelled incredibly appetizing, so it would fly into a rage whenever greedy staff snuck a bite out of it. As the firm’s performance skyrocketed thanks to the baguette boss’s bizarre business tactics, the loaf grew bigger and bulkier by the day. One day, the baguette officially announced plans for the company’s NASDAQ IPO. Printed prominently on the first page of the prospectus was the firm’s ultimate core business: total domination of the global breakfast industry. Faced with this absurd reality, Emily shifted from initial skepticism to becoming a key lieutenant actively helping her boss fend off malicious short sellers. Through her dramatic workplace rise, she ultimately realized that as long as you possess outstanding competence, it does not matter one bit whether your boss is human or not.
