My Empire, My Captain Episode 1

Series details

"Clara was the hidden heir to Europe’s most powerful aviation dynasty. To prove herself, she lived in the shadows—and fell in love with her childhood friend, Derek, a rising pilot who knew nothing of her true identity. Then came the night on the rain-soaked tarmac. She watched Derek tear up a decade of their memories and abandon her for Vivian, an heiress whose family wanted Clara dead. As she lay in the mud, twelve Rolls-Royces pulled up. Her family’s steward stepped out. “Miss Clara,” he said, “it’s time to take your place.” She rose from the dirt and seized her empire. Half the world’s air routes bowed to her. She crushed Vivian’s family with a single deal. And Derek? She stripped him of every route he’d ever flown—and made him her personal captain. A humiliation she wielded like a blade. But in the cockpit, at thirty thousand feet, when an assassin’s bullet shattered the glass and death stared them down, Derek whispered the truth he had carried for years: he never betrayed her. He had sacrificed everything—his honor, her trust, a decade of love—to protect her from the assassins hunting the hidden heiress. Now, Clara knows. The man she punished was the one who saved her. The enemy she crushed was nothing compared to the one who still hunts them. Together, at the edge of the sky, they will finish what he started—and bring down every last ghost from her past. In the end, Clara rules the skies. And Derek is her captain. The only one she ever wanted. The only one who was ever hers."
