My ex knelt down and called me aunt Episode 1

Series details

Lawyer Chloe's boyfriend of seven years, Brandon, uses her as a bargaining chip to attract investment for his company, which is on the verge of bankruptcy. He sends her to his uncle, Alexander, the head of a financial empire. She calmly analyzes the situation and persuades Alexander to marry her: having been pushed into the wolf's den, she's determined to be the mistress behind the strongest wolf, making all those who betrayed her kneel and call her "Auntie." However, unbeknownst to her, this seemingly absurd accident is Alexander's scheme. She believes it's a revenge plot she's orchestrated, but step by step, she uncovers a shocking truth: her mother's "accidental" death, her husband's eight years of silent protection, an old fountain pen engraved with her name… It turns out that this seemingly mutually beneficial whirlwind marriage was her mother's final escape route before her death. After the storm subsides, the two make vows at her mother's grave, and Alexander proposes to her at the place where they first met.
