My husband is the murderer! Episode 1

Series details

Vivian, the vice president of a publicly traded company, returned from a business trip only to find—instead of a hug from her husband—a carefully orchestrated disaster waiting for her. While she was away, her husband Julian had been having an affair with her best friend, Sabrina, in the master bedroom. Her four-year-old daughter, Lily, climbed onto the balcony chasing a balloon and desperately cried for help from the edge of the building, but her father, lost in the throes of passion, turned a deaf ear. Lily fell and was seriously injured. After regaining consciousness in the hospital, she accused “Daddy of being a bad man,” but Julian and Sabrina brushed it off, claiming she was “holding a grudge because the medicine was too bitter.” While Vivian was still puzzled, a deadly threat was already creeping up on her—her brakes were tampered with, sleeping pills were slipped into her porridge, and a pillow was about to be pressed over her mouth and nose. Thanks to her assistant Clara’s rescue, Vivian faked her death to escape and secretly gathered evidence from audio recordings and dashcam footage. The plot hatched by her husband and her best friend gradually came to light: kill the wife to seize her assets, then use their daughter Lily as leverage to extort a 20 billion investment from her maternal grandfather, Victor. At the memorial service, Julian slapped her, stabbed himself in the chest, and staged a full-blown act of self-sacrifice. Just as Victor was about to sign the document, the door burst open—Vivian stood in the doorway, dressed in white, clutching all the evidence. From the fall from the building to the car accident, from the sleeping pills to the strangulation attempt—every crime was documented on audio recordings. The police stormed into the church, and all three were arrested. Vivian cradled her daughter and whispered, “Mommy won’t let anyone hurt you ever again.” A marriage that began with betrayal ended in revenge.
