My Mafia Husband Begged Me Back Episode 1

Series details

After their daughter Kelly died, Alicia was completely heartbroken by her husband Everett, an arms dealer. It turned out that Everett’s subordinate Madeline caused Kelly’s death. On that terrible day, Everett chose to rescue Madeline rather than his own daughter. To shield Madeline afterward, he made Alicia take the blame, and she suffered endless insults and abuse from Everett’s family. Desperate, Alicia secretly got divorced and joined Welkin Shield, a top-class classified national project that cut her off from the outside world for two decades. She also arranged timed leaks to expose the Curran family’s illegal arms trades. Three years later, Everett hacked into the base. Learning the whole truth, he repented bitterly and begged Alicia to reconcile, only to be firmly turned down. The powerful Curran empire soon crumbled. Alicia buried herself in work to heal her pain. Step by step, she walked out of the shadow of the past and began to hold a glimmer of hope for a brand-new future alongside her kind colleague Damon.
