My Mafia Husband Doesn't Know I Speak Italian Episode 1

Series details

To repay her father's massive gambling debts, Eva was forced to marry into the Moretti Mafia family. Though fluent in Italian, she sensed the family's sinister schemes and thus disguised herself as an innocent girl who didn't understand a word of foreign language—using this guise as a protective shell as she endured her life within the shadowy estate. She planned to flee with her divorce agreement from her Mafia husband, but before departing, she understood the secret he had whispered in Italian: he would rather see her resent him than allow anyone to hurt her. As the family's conspiracy, her father's debts, and an assassination plot unfolding beneath a fireworks display all converged, Eva had no choice but to continue pretending not to understand a word, maneuvering between her husband and her enemies. Dante saw her as an unsuspecting prey, unaware that she could decipher every secret he uttered—and that she had finally heard the love hidden beneath his cold exterior.
