That all changed when Xiao Min suddenly fell ill with a high fever that wouldn't break. Xiao Ya, who had always been at odds with her, set their differences aside and diligently cared for her through the night. This unexpected event broke the stalemate between them. As they finally opened up to each other, they discovered they had both been victims of A-Zhe's manipulative games. In the end, they joined forces to gather evidence and publicly exposed A-Zhe for the scumbag he truly was. Finally free from his emotional hold, the former rivals became the closest of friends, embracing a new, wonderful life of freedom together.
