My Silent Husband Is Secretly Obsessed With Me Episode 1

Series details

Lydia followed the family's arrangement and married business tycoon Edgar Winterbourne for two years. To outsiders, Edgar was a cold and taciturn iceberg-like CEO, and at home, he was distant and restrained towards Lydia, making their marriage already a mere formality. Endured by rumors and criticisms, Lydia was disheartened and planned to submit a divorce agreement to end this cold relationship. Just as she reached out to touch Edgar's shoulder, unexpectedly, she awakened the ability to read minds. She was shocked to discover that this cold-featured husband had deep love and possessiveness towards her. Lydia followed the clues to uncover the truth: Edgar had permanent hearing impairment and could only communicate through lip-reading; the scandalous rumors circulating outside were all fabricated traps. Edgar was deceived by the fabricated agreement tampered by his younger brother Leonard, mistaking it for something proposed by Lydia, demanding that all intimate contact in the marriage be prohibited. Out of respect, he had suppressed his deep love all along. The ambitious Leonard coveted the group enterprise and secretly collected Edgar's hearing medical records, planning to poison him further to damage his hearing and attempt to ruin his brother's reputation and marriage, in order to seize the company. Lydia remained calm, using the ability to read minds to secretly gather evidence, and joined forces with the female college student Margaret and the expert in hidden camera equipment John to gather key evidence such as the recording of the poisoning, the forged agreement, and the bribery of the media to fabricate lies. At the family gathering dinner, Leonard publicly presented the materials and launched a fierce attack. Edgar no longer concealed his own defect and used the speech synthesis system to speak in court, simultaneously presenting all the evidence of his crimes. Leonard's conspiracy was completely exposed, and he was taken away by the security guards on the spot. The turmoil ended, and a miracle occurred. Edgar also possessed the ability to read minds, and the two were able to mutually hear each other's thoughts. They tore up the agreement, resolved the two-year estrangement and misunderstanding, broke free from the shackles of family power struggles, openly accepted each other's feelings, and embarked on a happy marriage with mutual understanding.
