My Sister's Killer Fell for Me Episode 1

Series details

Violet Winchester, princess of the fallen kingdom Aurora, swears vengeance after her elder sister Irene is brutally tortured to death in Valden Empire’s notorious Thorn Palace. Driven by burning rage, she volunteers to go as a political hostage bride to the ruthless emperor Edmund Flint. Pretending to be a gentle, naive young lady, Violet masters perfume‑making and herbal craft to win Edmund’s affection. Traumatized from years as a childhood prisoner, the violent emperor finds peace only in her special scents and grows deeply obsessed with her. Behind his back, Violet manipulates court intrigue, taking down every accomplice responsible for Irene’s murder one by one. She outwits the jealous noblewoman Margaret and eliminates her allies Anna and Catherine. Unknowingly trapped in Violet’s carefully woven scheme, Edmund falls madly in love with the woman plotting his ruin. He showers her with power and favour, completely blind to her true motive. By mixing two special fragrances, Violet slowly poisons his body and mind. When he finally realises every tender moment was nothing but revenge theatre, it is already too late. After all her enemies perish, Violet is left holding her late sister’s wooden carving. She has completed her bloody revenge, yet ends up utterly alone, with no one left to love her.
