Series details

The world ended. Emma was a scientist sent into the quarantine zone to find a special infected known as "Patient Zero." She found Liam, the ex-boyfriend she had left three years ago for being cold and distant. He was now a creature of instinct, barely human. But when a monster attacked her, he saved her. His memory was buried, but his love was not. Emma uncovered the truth. Liam had been dying. He had discovered a deadly flaw in Noah Corporation's lab and was silenced. He pushed her away to protect her, then became the subject of a horrific experiment. Her boss, the zone commander, was a spy. He wanted to use Liam as a weapon. Emma chose Liam. She chose the infected man who still loved her. They ran. They fought. They survived. He was no longer human, but he remembered her. That was enough. Together, they destroyed the lab and exposed the conspiracy. He did not become human again. But he became hers.
